何炳松(1890-1946),浙江金华人,我国民国时期著名的历史学家、出版家,也是我国著名的历史教育家。曾任教于北高师、北大,先后担任商务印书馆编译所所长和国立暨南大学校长等职。他编著过《新时代外国史教科书》(1929年初版)、《复兴高级中学教科书外国史》(1934年初版)、《复兴初级中学教科书外国史》(1937年初版)等中学历史教科书。这些教科书较为集中地体现了何炳松外国史教科书的选材思想。对其进行探讨,可以为我国当前的世界历史教科书改革提供一些有益的借鉴。
He Bingsong (1890-1946), a native of Jinhua, Zhejiang, a famous historian and publisher during the Nationalist period, is also a famous historical educator in China. He has taught at the Beijing Normal University and Peking University and has served as the Director of the Compilation Institute of the Commercial Press and the President of the National University of South University. He has written history textbooks such as “New Age Foreign History Textbook” (early 1929), “Resurrection of High School Textbooks Foreign History” (early 1934), and “Revival Junior High School Textbook Foreign History” (early 1937). These textbooks more fully embody He Bingsong’s thoughts on the selection of foreign history textbooks. Exploring it can provide some useful references for the reform of China’s current world history textbooks.
