古河流对煤层的冲刷,可使煤层变薄,不可开采,甚至全部冲掉。在煤矿生产过程中,如能掌握煤层冲刷规律,对古河流流向、宽度、下切深度、分叉等进行预测,将会有助于巷道的合理布置及工作面的顺利开采。“一切真知都是从直接经验发源的”。根据本矿多年来井下地质观测实践,发现五煤层沉积之后不久,在不小的范围内发育了古河流,使五煤层,甚至其下的六煤层遭到冲刷侵蚀。经井下钻探及对河流冲刷沉积物的定向取样观测,初步掌握了本矿Ⅲ断层以南古河流的流向,并用之于新采区古河流冲刷的预测上,见到一定的效果。兹加以整理介绍,供参考。
Furrow erosion of the coal seam, coal seam can be thinned, can not be mined, or even washed away. In the process of coal mine production, if we can grasp the law of coal seam erosion and predict the flow, width, undercut depth and bifurcation of the ancient river, it will be helpful for the reasonable layout of the roadway and the smooth mining of working face. “All true knowledge is derived from direct experience.” According to the underground geological observation practice for many years in the mine, it was discovered that the ancient river flow was developed within a very small area shortly after the sedimentation of the fifth coal seam, causing the erosion of the fifth coal seam and even the sixth coal seam beneath it. Through the downhole drilling and directional sampling observation of river erosion sediment, the flow direction of the ancient palaeo-stream in the south of the Ⅲ fault of this mine is preliminary grasped and used to predict the erosion of the ancient river in the new mining area.
