太极拳锻炼能够减轻焦虑、抑郁情绪,改善睡眠和情感状态,并能降低自主神经紧张性,提高神经行为功能,增强体质,减少自由基对机体的损害,改善细胞代谢功能,能在一定程度上延缓衰老进程。坚持锻炼,可提高睡眠质量。通过对300名持续练习太极拳三个月以上的老年人群,运用问卷调查法对训练后睡眠质量进行调查分析,结果显示训练后对睡眠质量有显著的差异性。
