反射器天线的高频性能,严格地取决于其金属反射表面的变形大小。许多设计者未能认识到这种反射面上覆盖的涂层厚度的变化也会降低天线增益和增大副瓣电平。为了计量这种影响,不但油漆的微波性能而且其厚度都必须加以测定。利用一项已经研究成功的新技术,对油漆的样品可以快速而精确地确定其特性,而不需要复杂的设备。这项技术可以让设计者更有把握地确定天线性能。
The high frequency performance of the reflector antenna depends strictly on the size of the deformation of its metallic reflecting surface. Many designers fail to recognize that variations in coating thickness over this reflective surface also reduce antenna gain and increase sidelobe levels. In order to measure this effect, not only the microwave performance of the paint but also its thickness must be measured. Take advantage of a new technology that has been successfully studied to determine the characteristics of paint samples quickly and accurately without the need for complex equipment. This technology allows designers to determine the antenna performance with greater certainty.
