在小学生的数学作业中,我发现不少诸如“教室面积是48米”以及“做这个铁桶需要铁皮2立方米”之类的错误。于是找来几个学生细问,他们竟说得自己挺有道理。这个说:“面积为什么一定要用长度的平方作单位呢?买布不都是论‘尺’的吗?”那个说:“电视屏幕的大小都是论‘几时’的。”还有的说:“铁皮虽然很薄,但总还有点厚度吧?它不但可以拿起来,而且还很重哩!所以问多少铁皮,我就认为是指体积。”
In my pupils' math homework, I found a lot of mistakes such as “classroom area is 48 meters” and “making this iron barrel needs 2 cubic meters of metal”. Then asked several students to ask, they actually justified themselves. This said: “Why do you have to use the square of the length of the area as a unit? Buy cloth are not on the 'foot' it?” That said: “The size of the TV screen are on 'when'. ”Although the metal is very thin, it is still a bit thick. Not only can it be picked up, but it is still heavy! So I ask how much metal it is, and I think it means volume."
