“脆红”是从胡柚与红皮酸橙的杂交后代中选育出来的新品种,2011年7月取得农业部植物新品种权认定并定名。果实扁圆形,大小整齐,在无授粉条件下果实无种子,单果重0.21~0.29kg;混栽情况下每个果实有种子10余粒,单果重0.3~0.4kg,果形指数0.83~0.91,横径6.5~9.5cm。果皮浓橙色,表面光滑,油胞较密,果顶平截,无印圈,果皮厚0.33~0.38cm,稍难剥皮,白皮层粉红色。果肉橙色,果肉质地脆嫩爽口,香气浓,可食率高达81.6%。果肉含可溶性固形物12.0%,总糖7.56%,总酸1.35%,维生素C0.456mg/g。
