Essential hypertension can be based on the patient’s renal and adrenal sodium intake and infusion of angiotensin Ⅱ whether the appropriate regulatory response is divided into regulatory and non-regulatory type. Non-accommodative type accounts for about 40% of essential hypertension, its pathogenesis is: ① local tissue concentration of angiotensin Ⅱ: ② membrane defects and sodium transport abnormalities; ③ genetic factors. The article also discussed the diagnostic criteria and treatment of non-regulatory type.
