本期专题以“植物”开篇,实非出于某种特殊的兴趣,亦非责任感使然我们不是园艺爱好者,环保人士或一心践行素食主义,也无意串联起自“中国当代艺术”的概念成立以来、三十年间所有涉及“植物”创作的艺术史叙述。“植物”在这里仅是提问的起点,且并不要求“正确”的答案。在本期“注目”的研究工作中,“植物”的意义在于以此为条件组织起一个假说它既包括创作及观念形态,又涵盖艺术建制及系统内外或隐或现的脉络和张力、更牵涉乃至指向社会层面的生产、交换、流通及人际、生态、自然的复杂关系网络——凡此种种,我们尝试用“艺术关系学”来概括。
This issue begins with “Plant ”, but it is not because of a special interest or a sense of responsibility that we are neither gardening enthusiasts, environmentalists or vegetarianism, nor do we want to concatenate them from the “Contemporary Chinese Art ”Concept since the establishment of all three decades involved in “ plant ”art history narrative. “Plant ” is just the beginning of the question here, and does not require the “right” answer.
