使用万能材料试验机做金属冷弯试验常存在下列缺点: (1)试验机须根据钢材的不同品种、规格及技术条件,经常更换上压头和调整两支辊间的距离. (2)试样弯曲变形产生的侧向推力,可使两支辊移动,支辊座易破坏;两支辊做成整体的,其距离就不能调整. (3)试验机做三点弯曲时,由于上压头歪斜及两支辊的中心线与上压头中心线的偏移,使工作油缸磨损.不均匀.并对两固定支柱产生侧压力加大磨损从而影响试验机精度缩短寿命. (4)工作台过高(1.7米),操作不安全. (5)试验时,上压头以点接触或线接触方式加压,局部变形较大,可能出现裂纹、裂缝,影响试验准确性.
