1989年4—5月间,先后有六十余名中外地质专家去四平山门银金矿床进行考察。许多专家对矿床成因提出了各自的见解:4月6日英国构造学家切特威克(B.Chadwick)由长春地院张贻侠院长和吉林省地矿局叶天竺总工程师等陪同去四平市山门银金矿进行地质考察。在听取了四平地调所的矿区地质情况介绍和现场考察之后,他认为该成矿带是与太平洋板块运动所控制的陆内 NNE 走向滑移深大断裂带有关。这一构造体系的次一级构造成为多期岩浆活动和矿液的通道,矿床属于低温热液性质。
From April to May 1989, more than 60 Chinese and foreign geologists successively visited Siping Shanmen silver-gold deposit. Many experts put forward their own opinions on the genesis of the deposit. On April 6, B. Chadwick, a British tectonist, accompanied by Dean Zhang Changxia of Changchun Institute and chief engineer Ye Tianzhu of Jilin Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, went to Siping Shanmen silver gold geological exploration. After listening to the geology briefings and on-the-spot investigation of the mining area in Siping Land, he believes the metallogenic belt is related to the inland NNE strike-slip deep fault zone controlled by the Pacific plate movement. The secondary structure of this tectonic system has become a multi-period magmatic activity and ore channel, and the deposit belongs to low-temperature hydrothermal properties.
