从1985年,江苏美术出版社就着手组织编撰《中国现代美术家研究丛书·江苏系列》,提出的目标是力求做到科学性、研究性、创见性、资料性的统一。1991年底可以出版对钱松喦、陈之佛、徐悲鸿、李可染四人的研究专著。撰文者都是对选题内容研究有素的专家,大多和研究对象曾有过密切的交往,如马鸿增之于钱松喦,孙美兰之于李可染。在撰写过程中又得到过画家家属和学生们的帮助。其研究成果具有第一手材料的价值。
From 1985, Jiangsu Fine Arts Publishing House started to organize the compilation of “The Series of Chinese Modern Artists’ Study Series of Jiangsu”, aiming at the unification of science, research, innovation and data. By the end of 1991, monographs on Qian Songyan, Chen Zhifu, Xu Beihong and Li Keran may be published. The authors are well-researched experts on the topic content, most of whom have had close contact with the research object. For example, Ma Hongzeng at Qiansongyan and Sun Meilan at Li Keran. In the process of writing and get the painter’s family and students to help. The research results have the value of first-hand materials.
