The Catalytic model was originally used to describe a mathematical model for the catalysis of chemical reactions; muen-ch used a catalytic model for epidemiology and proposed a set of epidemiological catalytic models. The model can simulate the age prevalence of certain infectious diseases and the age-positive rate of certain indicators, summarize their age distribution characteristics in a mathematical way, and quantitatively measure the average speed of transmission of these infectious diseases among people and estimate the disease. “Infectivity” is of great significance for understanding the epidemiological characteristics of the disease and evaluating its effectiveness.
