一、中小学双语师资培养的意义(一)适应中小学双语教学实践的需要双语教学在我国进行得如火如荼。在其深入推进的过程中遇到的最大障碍就是双语师资的匮乏。据预测,上海市到2007年将需求1万多名双语教师,目前师资缺口达8000人。2005年4月22日-23日在苏州市相城区黄桥实验小学举办的全国双语教育评价研讨会上,所有双语实验学校代表的一致呼声就是亟需双语教师。而且建国以来,我国师范院校从未设立双语教学专业,现有的双语教师也基本上没有接受过专门的系统的双语教学培训。因此,通过高师院校为中小学培养优秀的双语师资势在必行。

The existing bilingual teachers basically have not received specialized systematic bilingual teaching and training. Therefore, it is imperative to cultivate excellent bilingual teachers for primary and secondary schools through higher normal colleges.
