北京奥林匹克公园嘹望塔属柔性超高层钢结构建筑，高度达248m，结构形式复杂，构件数量多；经拼装方案比选，确定了塔身简体地面拼装模块式吊装单元体，塔冠地面拼装树枝状吊装单元钢结构拼装技术，减少了高处作业工作量，节省了高处吊次，缩短了工期，确保了工程质量和安全，为类似工程施工积累了宝贵经验。
