《残疾人保障法》的实施贯彻,对促进残疾人事业发展,保障残疾人合法权益发挥了重要作用,残疾人事业呈现出蓬勃发展的局面。而新的《残疾人保障法》在修订草案中又进一步贯彻以人为本的理念,着重完善或增加了有关残疾人合法权益保障的规定。这一切都展示出法律对残疾人的保护和关爱,展示出党和政府对残疾人事业的高度重视,也展示出我国政治文明的进步和执政理念的成熟。
