Fenton反应产生的·OH进攻脱氧核糖,生成的丙二醛与硫代巴比妥酸在低pH条件下加热生成红色加合物。用分光光度法研究抗坏血酸对Fenton反应生成·OH的影响。结果表明,在适当条件下,抗坏血酸能显著促进·OH的生成;抗坏血酸亦是一种有效的·OH清除剂。·OH清除剂与脱氧核糖竟争·OH,根据对显色反应的抑制及脉冲射解试验测得·OH与脱氧核糖反应的速率常数,推出·OH与清除剂反应的速率常数。
