《箓竹山房》是吴组缃先生的代表作之一,也是现代小说创作中的经典作品。过去人们习惯于从反封建的角度去解读小说主人公“二姑姑”的悲剧命运,认为是封建礼教束缚了自由爱情、残害了健康生命。如果跳出时代、历史的束缚,从人性的角度分析二姑姑偷情、偷生、偷窥这一生命的主线,则可以更好揭示其性格形成及悲剧命运的根源所在。对于今天这个欲望膨胀、性爱张扬的时代也有值得研究和借鉴的地方。
