在中国文化“走出去”战略的引领下,学界对中国古典诗歌英译的关注和研究不断升温。本文作者以读者意识为切入点,对《唐诗英韵》这一成功个案展开研究,以期为译者推动中国古典诗歌、中国文化走向世界提供一定的借鉴意义。考察发现:《唐诗英韵》作为中国本土学者向西方译介我国传统诗歌的滥觞之作,其在海外的成功传播很大程度上归功于蔡廷干在读者意识驱动下采取的翻译策略,集中体现在“译诗选择”、“诗体改造”、“文化增译”、“归化处理”的翻译方法。
Under the guidance of Chinese culture “going out ” strategy, the academic circles pay more attention and research on the translation of Chinese classical poetry into English. In this paper, the author starts from the reader’s awareness and studies the successful case of “Tang Yun Ying Yun” with a view to providing some reference for the translator to promote Chinese classical poetry and Chinese culture to the world. The investigation reveals that “Tang poetry Ying Yun”, as the earliest translation and introduction of Chinese traditional poetry by Chinese scholars in the West, owes much to the success of Tsai Ting-kan’s translation strategy driven by readers’ consciousness, “Translation poem selection ”, “poetic transformation ”, “culture increase translation ”, “naturalization processing ” translation method.
