In recent years, Hebei Province has continuously optimized the policy environment, innovated the scientific and technological and financial integration mechanism, promoted the technological upgrading of key provincial-level industries in the province, and increased the number of high-tech enterprises and the ability of independent innovation to continue to improve. As of June 2014, there were more than 2,000 hi-tech enterprises in Hebei Province, including more than 800 hi-tech enterprises enjoying the preferential income tax policy. These enterprises have effectively promoted the development of five leading high-tech industries of new materials, biology and new energy sources, electronic information and high-end equipment manufacturing. In the past three years, 2,220 projects have been included in the national weight
