This work simulates the initial and final slag of Shougang converter, and uses the rotating test rod method to determine the loss rate of magnesium dolomite in common converter slag. The experimental results show that although the initial slag test temperature (1500 ℃) lower than the final slag test temperature (1600 °) lower 100 ℃, the early slag on the magnesium dolomite erosion rate is much higher than the rate of the last slag erosion; initial slag magnesium The erosion rate of dolomite material decreases rapidly with the increase of basicity of slag; the change of slag basicity in late stage has no effect on the erosion rate
