The current railway transport enterprises are faced with the challenges and opportunities brought by the development of the logistics industry. The advantages of the railway transport enterprises in developing logistics services are analyzed. Put forward the urgency of developing logistics service for railway transport enterprises and put forward the suggestions of developing logistics service such as changing concept, developing third-party logistics enterprise, establishing logistics information system, strengthening personnel training and increasing policy support according to the actual situation of railway transport enterprises.
