新时期英语口语教学以培养学生的交际能力和语言综合运用能力为目标,传统的课堂教育已无法适应日益增长的需求,英语口语课堂的改革势在必行。文章着重分析了目前大学英语口语教学所存在的主要障碍和问题,并探讨了切实可行的应对策略,以提高学生的口语交际能力。
In the new era, oral English teaching aims at cultivating students’ communicative competence and language comprehensive abilities. The traditional classroom education cannot adapt to the increasing demand. The reform of the spoken English classroom is imperative. The article focuses on the analysis of the major obstacles and problems existing in college oral English teaching, and discusses practical coping strategies to improve students’ oral communication skills.
