Scientists at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center have found that double-layer graphene can more effectively suppress noise than single-layer graphene. As a powerful contender for post-silicon-era CMOS devices, this discovery made graphene’s promise soaring. Graphene is a monolayer of graphite material whose lattice is a two-dimensional honeycomb structure of carbon atoms.
