由于各行政学院学报的定位或办刊策略的不同,使行政学院学报可分为综合型、专业型和混合型。从办刊主体的角度来看综合型和混合型的行政学院学报都不是一种合理的选择,只有专业型的行政学院学报才符合办刊主体的性质,才是行政学院学报走专业化、特色化的路径之合理选择。从整体上看行政学院在学术质量和编辑装帧质量上还有待进一步提高。
