随着世界第一台电子计算机的产生以及其后电子信息技术的迅猛发展,人类工业文明进入到了第三个革命阶段,即以计算机和网络技术为代表的信息革命。当前,信息已经成为了新经济的代名词,不论是美国最早提出的信息高速公路计划还是当前风靡全球的知识经济,都离不开信息技术。在21世纪,信息产业必将全面超越传统工业而成为经济的支柱。在知识经济时代,对信息类人才的需求也将会变得越来越旺盛,培养适应社会需求的高层次的信息类人才是我国高等学校信息类专业的一个重要任务和目标。
With the birth of the world’s first electronic computer and the subsequent rapid development of electronic information technology, the human industrial civilization has entered the third stage of revolution, namely the information revolution represented by computer and network technology. At present, information has become synonymous with the new economy. Whether it is the earliest proposed information expressway program in the United States or the current knowledge-based economy sweeping the world, information technology can not be separated. In the 21st century, the information industry will definitely surpass the traditional industries and become the backbone of the economy. In the era of knowledge economy, the demand for information talents will also become more and more prosperous. It is an important task and goal for information science professionals in higher education in our country to cultivate high-level information talents that meet the needs of the society.
