2006年7月29日,中国工会在她的历史篇章上写下了浓墨重彩的一页:世界500强之首沃尔玛公司在华分店第一个工会组织在晋江诞生了!在随后的60天内,在华30个城市的62家分店全部建立了工会组织。正如中华全国总工会副主席、书记处第一书记孙春兰所言:沃尔玛职工组建工会的意义绝不在于其本身,它涉及工会工作和工运事业的全局。中华全国总工会副主席、书记处书记徐德明明确指出,要发扬沃尔玛建会精神,运用沃尔玛建会经验,推动工会组建工作取得更大进展。
On July 29, 2006, the Chinese trade unions wrote a page on the history chapter of her: The first world top 500 Wal-Mart’s first trade union organization in China was born in Jinjiang! In the following 60 days, 62 branches in 30 cities in China all set up trade unions. As Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Trade Unions and First Secretary of the Secretariat Sun Chunlan said: The significance of establishing a trade union by Wal-Mart workers is by no means the mere fact that it involves the overall work of trade unions and the work-forts industry. Xu Deming, vice chairman of the ACFTU and secretary of the secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, made it clear that more progress must be made in carrying forward the spirit of the founding of Wal-Mart, using the experience of establishing Wal-Mart and promoting the formation of trade unions.
