《赛德克.巴莱》主要描绘了睿智又迂腐的硬汉莫那鲁道、被“我是谁”纠缠致死的花冈一郎和二郎、温和有人性的另类日本军警、伪“汉奸”铁木瓦利斯以及用大义诠释赛德克族群精神的女人和少年。他们传达出信仰就是一切,为了维护信仰的纯粹,阻碍信仰的任何事物都要被杀掉,这样的人才是真正的人的深刻内涵。不可否认文化信仰是人的精神支柱,但陷于文化原教旨主义也是危险的,交流发展才是全球化时代实现文化多元的姿态。
