从佛典或域外汉籍中,寻找材料,发现并解决问题,以开拓研究的新思路、新局面,在当前的学术界已渐成新气候,成就卓著者不少。董志翘先生《<观世音应验记三种>校注》(按,江苏古籍出版社二○○二年一月第一版,以下简称“《校注》”)的撰著,可谓兼而有之。在佛典和域外汉籍的校读与研究两个方面,此书都为学界树立了良好的典范。
