培田的乡村艺术是一种独具特征的文化典型,其最明显的特征是依托着理念化、艺术化的建筑群落,借助于绘画、雕刻、书法、诗文、戏曲等方式所作的整体呈现。它还不同于专门艺术家的个人化创作,它既具有实用性,也具有审美装饰的作用,更重要的是它们很多都是为了教育宗族的子孙后代而遵循明确的主题进行创作或制作的。以耕读为本的乡村生活形态,支撑了培田乡村艺术的形成,比照之下,当今的空巢农村或弃耕农村的文化状态,对于乡村艺术、乡村文化留存与发展都将形成巨大的不良影响。
Peitian’s rural art is a unique cultural model. The most obvious feature of Peitian’s rural art is that it relies on the conceptualized and artistic architectural community, with the help of painting, sculpture, calligraphy, poetry and drama, etc. as a whole . It is also different from the individualized creation of specialized artists. It is both practical and aesthetic, and more importantly, many of them are created or produced for the purpose of educating the descendants of the clan and following specific themes. The farming-oriented rural life style supported the formation of Peitian village art. In contrast, the current empty-nest rural or abandonment rural cultural status would have a huge negative impact on the rural art preservation and development influences.
