采用TDI(甲苯-2,4-二异氰酸酯)、IPDI(异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯)两种不同异氰酸酯对芳纶纤维进行活化处理,并用RFL(间苯二酚-甲醛-胶乳)浸渍液处理,将改性纤维大量加入到EPDM(三元乙丙橡胶)制备成绝热层。利用红外分析芳纶纤维表面处理后官能团的变化,用EDS分析纤维表面元素含量,用SEM观察纤维表面的形貌,通过拉力测试仪测试了绝热层的力学性能。研究发现纤维经过TDI活化并浸渍RFL后,改性效果更好,EPDM绝热层的断裂伸长率提高了53%,抗拉强度降低了9.7%,模量升高了24.3%。
Aramid fiber was treated with TDI (toluene-2,4-diisocyanate) and IPDI (isophorone diisocyanate) two different isocyanates, and treated with RFL (resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex) A large number of modified fibers will be added to the EPDM (EPDM rubber) prepared as a thermal insulation layer. The changes of the functional groups after the surface treatment of aramid fiber were analyzed by infrared spectroscopy. The elemental content of the fiber surface was analyzed by EDS. The morphology of the fiber surface was observed by SEM. The mechanical properties of the thermal insulation layer were tested by tensile tester. The results showed that the modification effect was better when the fibers were activated by TDI and impregnated with RFL. The elongation at break of EPDM insulation layer increased by 53%, the tensile strength decreased by 9.7% and the modulus by 24.3%.
