Continuity and Change are two of the fundamental concepts guiding historical inquiry.However,it is also true that,due to the overwhelming preferences of historians to understand the most significant driving forces behind historical transformations,they are generally inclined to approach the ruptures between different stares,unintentionally overlooking the role of inheritance.
