从1959年起,SPWLA参与完成了早期的过压分析、自然伽马分析以及介电传播测井。由深探测介电测井发展起来的传播电阻率测井为20世纪80年代有生命力的随钻地层评价服务打开了大门。接下来的就是中子孔隙度、地层密度和声波孔隙度测井。20世纪90年代,这些技术走向成熟,连带业务得到发展。随钻测井(LWD)覆盖了裸眼井测井的大部,并在许多情况下成为首选技术。在新的钻井工具和定向随钻测量(MWD)仪器的激发下,定向钻井正在为LWD的应用创造经济前提。服务公司对LWD发展和市场开拓的投资作出了积极响应。文章介绍了LWD发展历程和取得的成就,重点介绍其商业核心技术。通过阐述需求与机会分析对其发展前景提出了挑战性观点。
Since 1959, SPWLA has been involved in early over-pressure analysis, gamma ray analysis, and dielectric propagation logging. Propagation resistivity logging, developed from deep-detection dielectric logging, opens the door to the viable formation-while-drilling evaluation service of the 1980s. Next is neutron porosity, formation density and acoustic porosity logs. In the 1990s, these technologies matured and joint ventures developed. Logging while drilling (LWD) covers most of the openhole logs and is the preferred technique in many cases. Excited by new drilling tools and directional MWD instrumentation, directional drilling is creating the economic prerequisites for LWD applications. Service companies have responded positively to the investment in the development and market development of LWD. This article introduces the development history and achievements of LWD, and focuses on its core business technologies. It presents a challenging perspective on its future by elaborating needs and opportunities analysis.
