Objective To understand the measles vaccination rate (MCV) among medical staff in Beijing. Methods A typical sampling method was used to select medical staff from 15 hospitals in Beijing to collect demographic information, measles prevalence and MCV inoculation, and to analyze the vaccination rate and reasons of non-vaccination. Results Of the 591 medical staff surveyed, 84 (14.2%) had measles history, 507 (85.8%) had no history of measles disease, and 48.5% (246/507) had pre-employment MCV Immunization history. Of the 261 pre-employment or unknown immunization episodes, MCV vaccination rates after induction were 18.4% (48/261); 67.1% (143/213) of those who were still or unknown after induction were unaware of hospital organization Vaccination activities. Conclusion The MCV vaccination rate of medical staff in Beijing is still low, and the recommendation of MCV vaccination for medical staff is not effective. It is recommended that a guideline be given to prevent and control measles in medical institutions.
