祁木香同于土木香、青木香。因在祁州栽培历史悠久而且质量很好,在国内外市场颇有信誉,故冠以“祁”字,以视区别。 (一) 植物形态多年生草本植物,全株高3—5尺。根圆锥形,表面褐色,具芳香气味。茎叶密生灰黄色绒毛,基生叶波状披针形,长一尺多,宽3—4寸,茎生叶较小,无柄。基部有耳,半包茎,叶缘长粗细锯齿。头状花序生于茎和枝的顶端,呈伞房状排列,花序边缘为舌状花,内部为管状花,并具有多层花包。果为瘦果。 Qi wood incense with wood incense, Aoki incense.
