A,M. sp. nov. B,M.sp.nov.C)。
A special conodont fauna was collected from the Permian Fanjiatun Formation near Lijiayao, Santai, Jiutai City, Jilin Province. Most conical spines are smaller, serrated development, tooth ridge serration does not heal. It is made up of some new molecules that have not been reported yet. Four new species (Mesogondolella changcunensis sp. Nov., M. jilinensis sp. Nov., M. multiserrata sp. Nov., M. pseudotoleudaensis sp. Nov.) And three unnamed new species (Mesogondolella sp. nov. A, M. sp. nov. B, M.sp.nov.C). The age of this group of conodont fauna may be Wordian-Capitanian, the former is more likely. The ammonite in the Fanjiatun Formation has worldwide genera and also belongs to the genus of the Tethys warm waters and the genera of the northern cold waters, reflecting the mixed characteristics of warm and cold. Most of the conodonts in the Fanjiatun Formation are new species, most of which may represent molecules in temperate waters such as Mesogondolella jilinensissp. Nov., M. multiserrata sp.nov., M.sp.nov.B, but Mesogondolella pseudoaltudoensis sp. Nov Similar to M.altudaensis, M.sp.nov.C also has a mouth-watering resemblance to M.shannoni, possibly belonging to the Tethys warm-water molecules, or all of them may be molecules of temperate waters. Combined with the analysis of paleomagnetic and tectonic geological data, the authors believe that the conodont group in the Fanjiatun Formation lived in cool, warm waters in the northern temperate zone of the Permian.
