峰峰矿务局所属各矿井下刮板运输机就达1131台,经常使用的在900多台左右。这样多的运输机分散的单台控制占用了相当多的劳动力,事故多,不能充分地发挥运输机的机械效能。为此先后搞过一个司机看二台三台以致全线,但又出现了事故多而严重影响生产的局面。面对这种情况,全部运输机实现集中控制对提高劳动生产效率和降低成本,降低司机的劳动强度就迫在眉睫,同时也是煤炭生产系统中提高技术水平的一个标志。 1963年首先在通二矿试验改进了原苏联设计的运输机集中控制系统,通过试验使用达到如下各点:
