本文从理论上研究了光纤折射率变化与色散的关系。光纤色散变化约正比于光纤纵向结构参数的变化。理论分析结果表明,为了把W型色散平坦光纤的色散控制在±1ps/km/nm,其纤芯半径和折射率差的纵向偏差必须分别小于0.04μm和0.014%。对于VAD法制作的W形色散平坦光纤,其纵向参数标准偏差的测量表明:引起色散偏差的主要原因是纵向纤芯半径偏差。纤芯半径的实际标准偏差估计不超过0.03μm。
In this paper, the relationship between the change of refractive index of fiber and dispersion is theoretically studied. The change of optical fiber dispersion is approximately proportional to the change of the longitudinal structural parameters of the optical fiber. The theoretical analysis shows that the longitudinal deviation of the core radius and the refractive index difference must be less than 0.04μm and 0.014% respectively in order to control the dispersion of the W-type dispersion flattened fiber to ± 1ps / km / nm. For the W-shaped dispersion-flattened fiber produced by the VAD method, the measurement of the standard deviation of the longitudinal parameters shows that the main cause of the dispersion deviation is the longitudinal core radius deviation. The actual standard deviation of the core radius is estimated to be no more than 0.03 μm.
