目前,国内电信运营商加快了全业务运营的步伐,在移动、固网领域展开了大规模的客户争夺战。与此同时,客户的个性化需求不断丰富,3G技术、信息技术不断进步,都对运营商服务客户的质量提出了更高的要求。国内的运营商大都将客户分为政企客户、家庭客户和个人客户三类,可预见的未来可以提供的3G产品多达几十种。根据业务的演进过程和对网络需求的不同,可以将3G业务分为继承类业务和特色业务。继承类业务是指将现有的2G、2.5G业务加以继承和优化的业务,主要包括:话音、话音增值业务、短信、彩铃、预付费、移动VPN、彩信、WAP浏览业务、下载类业务、流媒体业务、位置业务、E-mail服务、即时消息、游戏业务、商务类业务等。3G特色业务是指在3G网络条件下特有的业务,主要包括:可视电话、多媒体会议、高速上网、企业多媒体应用、手机支付、手机认证等。
