雷公藤作为草药在民间流传已久,主要是作为农药杀虫,也曾用以治疗关节炎及皮肤病。山于植物的地上部分有毒,以往未被列入中药内容,也缺乏深入细致的基础及临床研究。七十年代以后雷公藤的抗炎、抗肿瘤、免疫调节、抗生育作用逐步得到了医学界的认识,临床应用范围及病种不断扩大。1978年4月江苏省雷公藤科研协作组在省卫生厅的鼓励及支持下得以成立。遍及省内外的20多个单位参加了协作,经过四年的努力,在雷公藤的制剂研究、成份提取、药理观察及临床应用等方面均取得了丰硕的成果。特别是雷公藤多甙(T_Ⅱ)进入了临床使用,在多种变态反应性、
Tripterygium as a herbal medicine has long been circulated in the private sector, mainly as a pesticide insecticide, but also used to treat arthritis and skin diseases.
