This week, a video annotated on the Internet circulated that appeared to be the latest (at least the latest appearance) drone in the video. This UAV is similar to the American “Global Hawk,” but may be smaller. Its prominent external feature is the wing layout - a bit shaped like a diamond, with the swept wing on the back and the swept wing on the front. This design has some advantages over traditional wings, including low drag, large lift, and increased maneuverability. However, these benefits are often trivial and may be offset by the high cost and difficulty of making such a wing. Comments in the relevant video indicate that satellite communications equipment may be installed inside the raised area above the drone and synthetic aperture radar installed in the belly.
