近年来,上海约有上百个企业应用价值工程,获得约二千万元的经济效益。例如上无六厂,对大容量陶瓷电容的材料利用率进行价值分析,使成本连续下降,质量达到国际同类产品先进水平,获益80万元。又如上海锅炉厂,在保证产品功能前提下,对一种锅炉实现原材料代用,一次就节省75万元。实践表明,应用价值工程的原理和方法,能够有效地提高企业的经济效益。但是目前推广相应用的企业仍然是少数,还存在着以下几个问题:
