本文给出了用波动光学计算法模拟高能 CO_2激光束在大气中传输的综述。分析包含了大气加热和动力学冷却现象的非线性效应。只研究了稳态的即非湍流的情况。在计算中,和其他效应相比,热传导和自由对流可以忽略。给出的结果指出了水汽含量对光束质量的重要影响作用。研究了光束的旋转。和几何光学的结果进行了比较,得到了和实验室内模拟大气传输实验结果很好的吻合。
This paper presents a review of the propagation of high energy CO_2 laser beams in the atmosphere using a fluctuating optical calculation. The analysis includes the non-linear effects of atmospheric heating and kinetic cooling. Only steady-state or non-turbulent conditions have been studied. In calculations, heat conduction and free convection can be neglected compared to other effects. The results given indicate the important effect of water vapor content on the beam quality. The rotation of the beam is studied. Compared with the result of geometrical optics, the results are in good agreement with experimental results of simulated atmospheric transport in laboratory.
