50多年前,即新中国成立前夕,美国面对援蒋反共失败的现实,其统治集团内部发生了激烈的争吵。以杜鲁门、艾奇逊等为首的一派,为了欺骗舆论,为自己对华政策作辩护,抛出了题为《美国与中国的关系》的白皮书。对此,毛泽东亲自执笔为新华社写了《丢掉幻想,准备斗争》等五篇评论,揭露了美国对华政策的帝国主义本质,确立了当时对帝国主义斗争的战略与策略思想,从理论上进一步阐明了中国革命发生和胜利的原因。毛泽东的“五评”白皮书,是马克思主义的光辉文献,具有深远的历史影响和现实意义。
More than 50 years ago, on the eve of the founding of New China, the United States faced the fierce quarrel within its ruling party in the face of the reality of Jiang’s resistance to the Communist Party’s failure.
