我国天山西部,每年二月份,经常发生新雪雪崩,而且新雪的容重也较小,一般为0.35~0.60g/cm~3,具有粉质雪的特点。因此,在我国开展粉质雪崩的理论研究和预测也是实际非常需要的。国外在这方面不仅从理论上加以研究,而且还开展了模拟实验。了解国外有关研究情况,对于提高我国雪崩研究水平,开拓研究思路是大有裨益的。法国空气动力研究中心和格勃力学研究所对粉质雪崩进行了研究,给出了该现象的理论解释,并进行了模拟实验。实验中的粉质雪崩现象当作沿坡下滑的湍流“浮云”,采用的是
