金砖国家发展与合作的诸多成果正是在一些形形色色的质疑声中取得的。尽管金砖国家的发展与合作正面临各种挑战,但金砖国家引领世界经济增长的势头、深化各领域合作的动力、推动完善全球治理的目标并未发生改变。IMF数据显示,2016年金砖国家对世界经济增长的贡献率达51.0%,仍保持较高水平;同期金砖国家按市场汇率和购买力平价计算的经济总量占世界的份额分别为22.4%和31.4%,仍处于上升势头。
