William Herzrecht, from the point of view of the genesis of poetry, defined poetry as a feeling of natural impressions, imagination and passion, and expressed emotions through the rhythm of sound under the influence of it. Poetry has an allegory effect on natural reality. Through its transformation, it reaches the innermost hope of people. Thus, Herzliat pointed out that poetry is not a purely rational activity, but a product of imagination and passion. He also emphasized that phonology has an enhancement effect on the expression of emotion in poetry. It not only distinguishes the genre of poetry from other genres, but more importantly makes poetry genres truly reach the harmony of emotion, thought and phonology.
