August 10 this year is the 100th anniversary of Comrade Su Yu, we miss him. I first met Comrade Su Yu in the New Fourth Army advance detachment. In April 1938, the army headquarters of the New Fourth Army and the first, second and third detachments of about 7000 people joined the rock temple in Juxian County, Anhui Province, preparing to go to fight against enemy forces in central China and fight against Japan. In order to find out the enemy’s situation, terrain and public sentiments, the New Fourth Army decided to collect three companies from three detachments in accordance with instructions from the Central Military Commission
