On March 5, 2017, the Fifth Session of the 12th National People’s Congress (NPC) was grandly held in Beijing. Premier Li Keqiang mentioned in the 2017 government work report that it is necessary to thoroughly implement the “Belt and Road” construction and the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
