Aromatic nucleophilic substitution reactions often occur with rearrangement reactions and can not be satisfactorily explained according to the known addition-elimination histories (reviewed recently [1]). Not only the above problems have been solved since the dehydroaromatic hydrocarbon structure as an intermediate of reaction has been clarified, but a new field has been opened up in theoretical and experimental organic chemistry - the chemistry of dehydroarene.
