本研究考查中国学生英语限制性定语从句中代词保留和代词删除误用情况,结果表明:1)英语限制性定语从句中的代词使用受关系从句难度等级影响,出现代词保留和代词删除不对称现象;2)代词保留错误与学习者母语迁移程度及英语水平相关,出现高水平学习者误用率低于低水平者现象;3)代词删除错误与学习者英语水平无明显相关,出现高水平学习者误用率高于低水平者现象。本文对发现结果进行了分析。
This study examines the use of pronoun retention and pronoun deletion misuse in Chinese students’ restrictive attributive clauses in English. The results show that: 1) the use of pronouns in English restrictive attributive clauses is influenced by the level of difficulty of relation clauses, pronouns retention and pronouns deletion are asymmetric ; 2) the error of pronouns retention is related to the degree of mother tongue transfer and English proficiency of learners, and the misuse rate of high-level learners is below the low level; 3) there is no obvious correlation between pronoun deletion errors and learners’ English proficiency, Misuse rate higher than the low level of the phenomenon. This article analyzes the findings.
